Parable of Our Times [New]
A unionized public employee, a Teabagger and a CEO are sitting at a table. In the middle of the table there is a plate with a dozen cookies on it. The CEO reaches across and takes 11 cookies, looks at the Tea Partier and says, “Look out for that union guy — he wants a piece of your cookie.”
As seen wondering around the internets.

You forgot the ending: when the chef walked in to ask to be repaid for the cookie ingredients and his time spent baking, at first the CEO refused to pay anything. When the chef insisted and told the CEO how much money and time had been spent, the CEO finally relented, dug into his pocket and fished out a penny which he tossed on the table. Then walked out with his 11 cookies, claiming his posession of so many cookies was a sign of divine providence and, therefore, he could not possibly be expected to pay more than a penny.

No, you forgot the ending.
Chef walks in and asks to be paid. The CEO refuses but eventually relents, reaching into the public employee’s pocket and extracts five dollars in singles. He puts four in his pocket and tosses one onto the table.
The CEO turns to the union employee and says “look, times are tough, I only have 11 cookies,” puts a cookie in his mouth and walks out the door.
